My mate just bought a lc torrie for $6500 its got a 202 in it thats been worked off its nut...a nice 2 speed powerglide and its kermit green...ill post some pics on here asap and u guyz can tell me wot u think... p.s: its built for NOS too :twisted:

my mates got almost identical except bright orange... his is only a heavily worked 186 --> 192... but yeh sweet little cars ey.. they hammer too... and turns heads.... has already chopd jiffa's car lol :mrgreen:

one car i've always wanted to do up / own (apart from a VL and a GTA) is an LX Torrie with a 308 (or stroked), and a big roots style blower hanging out the bonnet... mmmm... *droooool* torry's are a classic aussie car that has stood the test of time in the modifying world. 30 years on and theres still some VERY nice examples gettin around. nice LC there too... dont underestimate the power of the 6 cyl torrie... saw a n/a 6 cyl torrie rip a 12 sec pass at willowbank the other week...

very very nice my mate daniel sold him this car all i can say is a LOT of money and time has been put into this car i helped him build it are u goin to put the triples on it that he gave u? i was going to buy this car but couldnt get the cash in time the gearbox was built to handle about 500 hp so all you need is a stronger diff and a shot of nos and you will get very good quartermile times out of this car its very loud with the strait cut timing gears sounds like its got a blower under the bonnet the engine is about as worked as a 202 can be worked top end botton end everything was rebuilt and all done with expensive parts he did buy a turbo kit for it but never got around to putting it on instread we planed on a big nos setup
