a friend is having a bit of trouble with her supercharged corolla. it has a fully imported corolla engine (front cut) so its been dropped into her car, it seems to run a little sluggish all of a sudden. we suspect maybe fuel pumps or lines, but when is gets warmer (the weather) the car seems to run even more sluggish. it has a top mounted cooler and is slightly boosted. any suggestions?

Octane boost and Higher octane fuel. Maybe what is happening is that the knock sensor is retarding the motor.

possibly.. it was running fine for the first couple of months though, and just decided to start playing up recently.
