My grandfather has a Nissan Pintara hatchback type one, its still 5 door and yeah its pretty quick, certainly worth looking at. I think its a 2.4L 4 Cyl and will tow a heavy trailer with ease and is quick for a smaller car let me tell ya.

i wouldn't look at those old pintaras in the r31 skyline shape, i always thought they struggled with a 4cl motor for a car that big.

yeah i dont think they had the 2.4's in them anyway, i think (the 31's), the newer ones got the 2.4 monster.

It was either a 2.4 or a 2.6 but i know its around that... i THINK its a 1992 model that my grandfather has but i'll double check. He's never had a problem with it at all other than a brake booster let go and someone rear ended it.

it's a 1.8 for the Gli and a 2.4 for the TRX (and another model). Yes, the TRX (sports model) is quite a fast car. Check out forum.teamnse.com for more info. There's an aussie "pintara" section there. The cars can look quite sweet with the TRX kit (rare as all hell to find though) and lowered on 17's.

That's [SPESHAL] from Performance Forum's car. For your info, that car runs VERY low (as you can see) and the tyres would be very expensive. That thing runs 20psi from what ive heard and is quite fast.

Quote: looking at spending up to 7000 You can get a good car for $7000, why dont you buy a car for $1500-$2000 and spend the rest on your VL. If you spend $7000 on a run about by the time you sell it you would of lost a fair amount of cash in depreciation. Just a suggestion though.
