Hey everybody, I need some help. I've just taken my head off, along with the plenum and inlet manifold and fuel rail etc... my problem is i've got the plenum and inlet manifold and taken all the bolts out that hold them together... but for some reason they will not separate.. now if i dont get them appart its going to cause major hassles putting it all together again, cos it was bad enough trying to taken nuts and bolts off with absolutely no room... so what i need it to know how i can separate the plenum and inlet manifold. (it is out of my car and just sitting on the floor at the moment) please please help!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

They have bolts under neath at the bottom too!!!! you have to undo these to separate them !!! Otherwise wack it with a hammer ehheehehe j/k. Put a cloth on them and wack it!! maybe the gasket is tight

He he, good luck getting the remains of the gasket off the inlet manifold if its the original one. It took me 2 hours of scraping with a razor blade on mine because it was so old and cooked on. Should have bought some gasket remover!

just use paint strippers and the gasket will come off easier... but never use paint strippers while the stuff is in the engine bay
