The boys at pioneer never stop to amaze me with their pure genious. They have brewed up a whoping 5000 watt car subwoofer. Comparison: Ummm Club QBH has subs that put out 2000 watts http://www.car.pioneeraus.com.au/technical/pdf_files/ts-w5000spl_tech.pdf

Have you seen the specs, and the customer service with that? Not to mention the price tag? That'll be five thousand dollars thanks, you want fries with that?

Can someone explain to me the point in having a stereo so loud you can't actually sit in the car and listen to it without headphones? And a sub so powerful you probably have to have every seam in your car re-welded after use?

i think the new mtx 15" is rated at 5000watts. Also, you will not need a boot full of amps, there a at least three amps I can think of that are above the 1500wrms, although they do come at a price. All these type subs are only for spl machines anyhoo, as they are not practical for anything else. Stick with a couple of 12". that way you get great sound and also the chance, if needed, to play loud and show off.

My Sub can take 4000WattsRMS.. for comps and sh*t.. and thats RMS not Max watts.. The sub had to come from America... and can take about 2000-3000rms for daily use.. Thing about these subs is you have to power them.. and 5000rms from amps isnt cheap.. let along the Alternator, Batterys and Electrical upgrades needed.. Car Audio is a Money pit just like Engines But its fun as hell....... Just like engines Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
