High guys ,
I have taken the 4" Speakers outta the dash
Just wondering what is the best and recommended speakrs to fit in dash withoput any mods
As I tried installing my 4" Kenwood speakers I had spare but the tweeter sits above the cone and the grille for the dash wont sit flush
anyways just would like some opinions on speakers to use in dash
Cheers,
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
i got some earthquake (cs4's?), carbon splits, magnets were to big but i spaced em up a bit and they fitted under the covers, put my tweeters in the airvents below!
dude try the new Kenwood 4in splite i dnt no the model number but i got a pair in my vl and they sounded pretty hecktic untill some low life scum cleaned out my whole system in sydneys most prestigious area known as "BANKSTOWN", ***in scums
Pioneer 4" 3-way polypropolene in mine at the moment, sounds excellent .. amazing sound from a 4" speaker .. fits fine under the cover also. Previously had had a Jaycar 4" speakers in there, but they hit the covers .. i jammed em on, and they JUST fitted .. after a few months the tweaters came loose from the mounting and it all sounded **** .. so bought the pioneers .. well worth it .. wether as your only speakers, or adding to your system.

thanx dude. chris.
i knew a dude who had jvl 6 & 1/2" splits in the rear and 4" jbl's up front in a mini and it cranked, rad clarity and good bass with no sub, sounded like good speakers to me
man i bought some VDO 4 inch speakers and they rock they are better than the 6 inch xplods i had in the doors in my last vl the rubber arround the cone is alot thicker meaning more bass and less distortion!!
