I've just taken out a clarion head unit and would like to replace it with a new one. I have 2 yellows, both with fuses connected to them. Do i only connect the thicker one to the new cd player and wrap the other one up? Both of them are 12v constant. Also, does the Red ACC wire need a fuse before you hook it up? Hope somebody can help me out. Dont wanna screw it up. Thanks

Oh yea, the thicker yellow wire has a 15a fuse and the thinner one has a 3A fuse if that means anything?

Ok you can all now ignore my question. I just hooked up the 15A wire and all works fine. Only problem now are the speakers. How do you know which is the positive and negative. I used both ways and both sound fine. Does the black stripe along some of the speaker wires mean whether is postive? Or does it mean that its negative. Somebody has to know! :?
