I have one of these black Modules under the dash from a VL Calais. I dont know what it is ? 8O Its got a removable casing and its got a plug that goes in it. Does anyone know whats its for, it sits under the dash where the button to lock the back power windows. It must do something? Calais owners should know heheehe, I suspect it could be the module for all the warning crap on the calais dash like, low on petrol, etc

Nope guys not the cruise control one. I am aware of that one its a small rectangular the size of a relay, the thing i am talking about it under the column, my mistake , it sits near the button that locks the power windows. Its quite big the size of a CD, it has mounts too. This is what is written on the sticker BD 25074704, 37BD, and AC moulded, it can be air con ?

Cruise control has 2 modules, btw .. one sits behind the dash cluster, and controls the switch panel/lights and signals .. and yes, is about the size of a relay .. the second control module sits down under the steering column, near where you mention .. Only other thing that should be down there is the Auto comp if youv got one, but theyr usually larger and metalic. Only other thought is thats roughly near where my aftermarket alarm/central locking control module is located, perhaps you have a system like that installed?
