guys ive decided to sell my car, was in a nasty car crash last night in a mates car (hospitalized 4), and ive decided i dont want the power anymore
this car has had thousands spent, was built originally by bresciani, ran a 12.24 on only 14 psi, its now ready to take upto 22 - 25 psi comfortably with alot of new gear, i have all the bumpers sprayed in beutiful 2 pack silver, and the have touched up the paint all over the car, has a 3 or 4 small pin dents nothing much, very straight, needs intercooler pipeing and a dyno tune for completion
pics are on my site with specs
wanted 16 000 ono or swaps considered

was a vs calais, everone survived, got fractured right jaw, and torn stomach muscles, very stiff everywhere else, my other mates cartlidge ripped off his ribs or lungs and has very bruised ribs, we all are very lucky, 70 km head on into a poll not nice
HI_PSI_VL: if i was to even consider a swap for another vl, it would have to be a calais, manual, nice paint job - pref red or black, nice wheels, very mint, with not so many modifiications
Hi
You should hold on to your car mate.... just turn the boost down !!!
Think of this as a lesson..... I'm sure the next time you take to the wheel you will think a little more before putting your foot to the floor.. I know I DID.
dude wait a week and see how you feel. I'm trying to sell my cbr250rr for a similar reason, but every time i get on the thing i don't want to sell it anymore...
You can have a high perforance car without driving like a high performance idiot, it seems you have put alot of time and money into that car be a pitty to let this stop you from realizing your dream.
aus880: yer the airbags are a treat, the ambulance said they saved our lifes
dirty_prelude77: if u wanna call me soft go for it, i prefer to be soft, than dead and soft, we where 1 metre off death in either direction, and close to haveing an engine completely on our laps ( bonnet pushed in 82cm) pushing almost through the firewall
ive just relised some things, and decided i would like to spend my money on something different
Bro i aint hijacking your for sale thread, but as i also know you on a more personal side, i hope your feeling better and all is well, when i found out that you were in a crash i hoped that the worse didnt occur. Good to have you in one piece mate.
As for the car, and im sure anyone will agree, it is worth the money your asking, but it also has your name written on it , everything you see is everything you have invested your time, your blood, your sweat and tears into. Dont go selling it for the reasons that you are. Keep it - enjoy it, take it as a learning experience. Some little punk 18 year old mummies boy will buy it, and either blow it up or wrap it. its your car -its your pride - i say stick with it.
thats just me tho -
bro - all the best and hope your feelin betta -
