hey fella's just wondering who has a ps2 and gran turismo 3 ? what kinda lap times are we cutting in what cars ? I hereby throw up the challenge...for those that have the time This ain't no lap time but I did 488km/h in the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak...what a unit ! anyway bring on those lap times, remember what track and what car...and what mods (to make it easy just max mod the car you're on about) wow i'm taking this so seriously haha l8r ! Yeah Ive got GT3, havent played it for ages though. 488kph....hahahahahaha try a bit harder. Ive seen my friend get his to go over 700kph down the test course. Before all the "BULL****" cries start echoing through here, he got onto a website and found out how to set the car up just right with aerodynamics etc. and went and did it and the thing literally wheelstands downt the straight. Cant turn around corners but who cares? If I can get him to remember teh website then I'll post it so we can all go close to the speed of sound. I accept your challenge, might have to go dust it off and start playing again. Shall we say... the Tokyo course going the correct way (not reverse) in a Dodge Viper that is fully worked, gotta be a showroom Viper, not that LeMans car. Best times? I can so see this thread getting locked too. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I was hoping somebody would say the Tokyo course going the correct way...my personal favourite as a matter of fact Although I dispute the car...hang on, no I don't I'm gonna kick all your asses... OK so it's to be done on Tokyo going the correct way in a viper...not a racing car viper though. it's on... i'm outta here... but i'll be back. with an honest time that I doubt anyone will beat 8) My favourite car is the Arta NSX which is orange...not too sure if you can buy it straight out tho... anyway catch ya's ! I just found this Wanna Pull A Wheelie? This works and don't overlook it. If you want to have fun with a car with over 950hp and racing modifications. You can gain speeds in excess of 800mph. Examples of cars used are the Escudo Pikes Peak, Camaro Race Car, and GT-One Race Car. Here are the steps. 1.Equip the highest possible turbo or NA tune stage possible. 2.Decrease spring rate to smallest possible value on both front and rear. 3.Decrease ride height to smallest possible value on both front and rear. 4.Set gear ratio's auto setting to highest possible level. 5.Set gear ratio's final gear to about 3.000 6.Decrease front downforce to the lowest and increase rear downforce to the highest possible value. 7.Set ASM and TCS to level 0 Now go out on the test coure and when u reach about 230mph your car will begin to catch some air.

Here we go. Speed overload When pulling the wheelie code using the Escudo Pikes Peak version the car can go over 800 Mph as stated before, but I have reached a speed of " 1541.6 !! " Mph.(basically mach 2!). In order to do this trick use the settings in the 1.Equip highest turbo. 2.Set spring rate to smallest for front and rear. 3.Set ride height to smallest for front and rear. 4.Set gear ratio's auto setting to highest possible level. 5.Set gear ratio's final gear to 3.000 6.Set front downforce to lowest and rear downforce to highest 7.Set ASM and TCS to level 0 as you might have already known. Then when going to the test track go the reverse way around and stop just over half way through the first turn. Floor it and try to make it out of the turn at at least 240 Mph. If done correctly, by the end of the strait away congratulations, you have just doubled the speed of sound!!

What is your fastest 1/4 mile times. I got 8.4/5 (as fas as I remember) in the escudo and the plymouth 001. Has anybody got faster?. Also if you do test course in a race you can drag cars (i.e. fly up straight behind them whilst they are going top speed) and you can get well over 500 in the escudo.

platinum: Quote: I've got GT2 on playstation... heh does that count? yeah that counts... i'll dig up some of my old records for you to see if u can beat.. my favourite cars on that game was the unisia skyline and the castrol supra.. and favourite track was Special Stage R5 (the nightime one) can pull some seriously sick times on that track in either of those cars. As for Gt3.. haha JVL87 thinks hes all that.. but wait till later when i shatter all his records.. you probably wont see another post from him again. Peace out Ollie Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hmm mistake on the final gear ratios. I fiddled around with it and managed to get 981km/hr but with the final gear rations on 2.000. U do a massive wheelstand at 370km/hr and then the car takes off like a rocket
