ok ive got a question for everyone with an n/a what is the best way to have your car tuned so as it has the best pick-up even if it dose take away abit from the top-end. at the moment ive got the dizzy advanced abit dont ask me how much as i dont have a timming light and that made a differenc ebut what else can i do to get better pick-up. p.s- i just drove home from work at about 11:45 and the car felt ****ing awsome more responsive, better pickup etc. and the rears smoked up as soon as i took off with my foot not even the whole way down. moral of that little story is i want my car to feel that good all the time not just when it is cold!

What did you use as a guide when Advancing Your Timing if you don't have a Timing Light? Also, I get the same thing, sometimes the car feels damn powerful, sometimes slow, but nothing too dramatic, soon I'll be replacing all the trouble parts (CAS, Oxygen Sensor, Plugs, Leads, Coil, AFM Etc) and hopefully it will get it running a lot better, won't be for a while though...

I bought Champion Leads and NGK Plugs, they're supposed to be top stuff, but Bosch Leads/Plugs are also good... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Who cares about Size, just make sure you get Yellow ones! 8) And make sure you tell your Insurance Company... Seriously though, I don't know, I wouldn't think it would be specific to the Engine, just better quality in general. Anyone else know for sure? Just ask the place you're buying them from if you need to know, and don't buy second hand ones (Unless they're yellow... ) because otherwise you're defeating the purpose... :? Gents, Ive got a set of 8mm High Performance Top Gun leads (Cat. No. TG6013A) which cost about $55.00 from Auto Barn. I think from memory the 8.8mm ones are around $78.00. The 8mm leads are for both the RB30e and RB30et. Cheers, JR Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

afaik, the size of the leads like 8mm and upto 10mm i think they might make a 12mm but not sure bout that. but the actuall part of the lead that the spark travels through is the same size in all of these leads its jsut the insulation is thicker is all, that is waht i ahve been lead to believe. Hoon
