Looking for any information on how to 'easily' remove and instal rear seat belts in an '88 VL. I am not overly mechanically minded but I dont wanna pay someone else to do it.

OK Firstly, you need to take the Bottom Half of your Back Seat Out, then I would suggest that you spray the bolts on BOTH sides (Including the Boot) with some CRC/WD-40 as it will make it a lot easier... The other side of te Bolt for the Passenger Side Rear Seat Belt is located throught the Exhaust Heat Sheild... Then simply undo the bolts inside the Cabin, then from inside the Boot, on either side, disconnect the Seat Belts from the C Pillars and feed the Seat Belt from inside the Cabin into the Boot. This is how I think it is done, as I am yet to attempt this myself, if any of this is wrong, could someone please correct me... :? Hope this helps... 8) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

be very careful when doing this - do not let the belts retract back inside. It is very fiddly trying to get it all lined up properly otherwise they won't retract properly. I have learnt from experience. (defected because they would not retract properly, MAJOR defect they decided...)
