Headunit: Kenwood MP3 Unit Front Speakers: 4" Pioneer Polypropoleen (sp?) speakers run from HU. Rear Speakers: 10"x7" Kenwood 3-way Speakers Custom Rear Parcel Shelf, black carpetting, lit ports. Sub: 12" Kenwood Sealed Amp: Sony 4ch 800w peak, custom paneling in boot install. Future upgrades: Smallish amp to drive front speakers, as the rears drown them out now Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well, my system is not in yet 'cause I'm puttin in some crazy anti-theft first. My last system ($2500 worth) all got flogged while i was parked at work one day. So my alarm/no locks will be done on Wednesday and the stereo install begins... Parts: Deck - Panasonic CQDF701W - 3x5volt preouts, aux in. Splits - Philips 6" with tweeters hidden (not telling where). Sub - Soundstream SPL15N - dual voice coil, 15", 400 Wrms. Amps - Rockford Fosgate Punch400 - approx 200 Wrms to each split. - Boss BA1604 - cheapie with guts, over 400 Wrms to each sub voice coil. Hopefully it'll sound sweet as!

Hey VL Commy, how much are the new splits gonna set you back? I've heard some big systems from Maroochy Car Sound featuring Phoenix Gold gear, and they sound soo syrupy smooth!

Had a brief look around today and only found them in one place for ~$369. Though im sure i'll be able to get them for less. I too really like phoenix gold gear. My current sub is a fairly old model but it definately impresses. The Splits also sound very nice to my ears
