Ok below is my drawing of the VL boot with the measurements i have made for my box. With the space i am using i have calculated you should have rougly 4-4.5ft^3 to play with. in your lil amp cabnet, how did i mount the acutal amp? did u just make a little box for it behind the perspex?

how big is your sub? only looks 12"???? and how did you mount the plate that holds the amp??? what did you bolt it to??? i've been looking at mine and can't find anywhere to safely secure it?

my sub is a 15" Phoenix Gold model XS154. In the amp cabinet i did just make a a box for it behind the perspex and the in the front panel there are two mesh grilles over holes in the MDF then on the sides of the box one to let in air for the 2 fans i have mountet, blowing across it to keep it cool and the other vent lets the air out. And to hold the front panel in place, i jus used liquid nails to mount an "L" bracket to the floor of the car, then screwed the panel into the bracket. It aint bugdin at the top cuz it fits tight as. P.S The amp rack is now updated

Hey big thanks VL Commy! Those dimensions are exactly what I've been after for a while now (too lazy to measure it myself). That amp rack does look sweet hey. Any chance of some rough dimensions for that as well? I figure an overall outline would help, then I can just shape it to my boot myself...

if i figure out how to insert pics in here i'll put some pics up when i've finsihed... i'm hoping to get 2 12's in there though, my 15inch is tooo big for my music tastes
