Hey People Just came back from a Drag meet in Auckland today. The GTR did a 8.75 @ 150+MPH on its first pass of the day then 9.1, 8.9 etc, its a sweet car, carbon fibre everywhere, huge turbo, leaves at 9000RPM, Motec M800, Holinger 6 speed sequential, ET streets all round. The EVO lancer did a 9.84 @ 140MPH, it is a 'street car', std diffs, gearbox, 600+HP engine (2L), M & H racemaster tyres etc. There is also a Honda Integra here that does 10.1, he was hoping for a 9 today, but he **** his gearbox on the first run. I have pics if anyone wants to see them.......

Yeah, well done to Reece McGregor in his GTR, for the low quarter times. I bet Mario isnt happy now but, with Reece bettering his time, makes him the quickest in the southern hemisphere. Although Mario has plenty of reserve i reckon http://www.exvitermini.com/ incase you dont know. How loud was the GTR, bet it screamed.....? dont know where i can find specs of his car do you? Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

HSVSUX runs around the circuit mainly, but done a 12.2 @118 / 2.1 60FT ops: hope to do a low 11 with my new GT35 going on soon. mcGregors car is not all that loud, but the launch control rev limit at 9000 sounds awesome, moves around heaps at half to full track. There is another GTR trying to run Him down, his spec's are.... Nismo N1 block trust 2.7 Billet crank Carillo rods Je 87mm Pistons Trust 1.4mm Head Gasket HKS Cams HKS vernier gears HKS valve springs HKS exhaust manifold Trust T88-34D Turbo HKS 60mm Gate 80mm exhaust system Trust Cooler Trust Plenum 1000cc Injectors 2 x Bosch 044 pumps Apexi Ali Radiator Motec M8 Motec CDI Holinger 6 speed HKS triple plate clutch Cusco front and rear diffs Custom manual torque split Custom axles Ohlins / Bilstein shocks 975HP I will find the spec list on Reece's car soon Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

WHT11 : $2100 NZD + GST It is the same turbo that is on Matt's car (PSI-O3L) The GT35 and GT40 are the same but the GT40 has a slightly bigger compressor I believe. They are both T3 flange size, so I have to change the flange on my Nizpro extractors. Darkstar : Around here ??? I have never seen an Auto used in a GTR over here. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Okays stupid question, but as mentioned above all the top GTRs are using manual transmission and pulling good times, yet when it comes to other vehicles(specifically RAJAB ect ect) the preference is always auto transmission to get 'good' times.Does the GTR have alot more better traction off the line than most other vehicles? You'd think that everyone would follow suite with an auto transmission if its going to improve their time? Prolly a very simple answer to this ops: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Interesting to see both NZ cars run big single turbo's?? while most stick with big twins, the HKS has twins, and so does mario's gtr, Also if you read mario's site it says he didnt run any wastegates at all, on his runs, basically whatever the turbo's could provide the motor got 8O

GTR's are 4wd that's why they run holinger 6 speeds. Oh they also cost $18,000 then you have to buy the clutch!! 8O The reason why the Vl's run 2 speeds is they are a reasonable price, easy to fix, plenty of parts readiably avaliable. JETVL is putting in an airshifted manual behind his lightweight VLT. Look forward to seeing that run.
