Hey all i am new to this here, i have been looking at the site for about a week or so now but yeah here is my problem. I am looking at putting in a cone air filter and just would like to know if anyone knows how to mount them on as the air filter in my car at this point in time is a flat bed one in that black box. I really have no clue but i want to put on a cone air filter. is their anyway of mounting it so it sits in the air etc. Thanks for the help Zanjara...

i wont go into the "standard airbox is better than pod filter" argument get a pod filter for a vl and it will have all the bits so you just unbolt the airbox and bolt on the pod. it should have a metal bracket to hold it in place too. that should bolt in using the holes left by the airbox in the guard.
