Any1 no what the new Panasonic head units are like? There the ones with the bright blue face.

Panasonic units are ****in excellent. There are a few good models to consider... CQDF302 has 3 pairs of 2 volt pre-outs, a clear bright blue display and sub control. CQDFX572 has 3 paris of 2.5 volt pre-outs, a dot-matrix display, sub control and can play MP3's. CQDFX972 is the king of the lot with 3 pairs of 5 volt (60 ohm!) pre-outs, BIG display, sub control, crossovers, MP3, etc etc... All the units have really high quality D/A converters so they sound really clear. Seriously, they're all excellent units... and they DAMN WELL PRICED!!!

now where's my money panasonic? nah just kidding... the units are seriously very good

How much is the CQDFX572 heady? Roughly..

thats the head unit i just bought. I think they retail for $729 .I got mine from Audiocom for $520

i have the CQDF301 which is exactly the same as the CQDF302 except like a season older although it has NO differences...? correct me if i'm wrong BurgundyCalais... anyway yeah they are awesome, the usablility of them i dunno, i guess it's like comparing a nokia 3210 to an ericcson t10...... they are really very good and easy to use... also like BurgundyCalais said, they are very well priced. I think mine still retails for around 300, possibly a bit less... anyway yeah. panasonic = good. Jay

panasonic headunits are good good!!.. they have the same build quality of eclipse (aparntly) i'm on my 2nd one now, and have been 300% impressed by both of them My first was 2 modles ago. top of the range mod-500w (glows blue) gets anoying sometimes when driving late at night, but you can dim it, (pain in the arce) i got the $1000 MP3 dotmatrix screen one, last week and that is very very sweet allso got 2 top of the line 12" clarion subs and same 3way splits 6.5-5.0 and 1.5" tweeters, subs sounds very very nice!!, and the splits arnt in yet, but they should top it off The panasonic amps and subs suck, so dont touch them Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
