Does anyone have any info on the VR and VS ute ranges. What styles did they have... SS, S pac, etc. and what did they come with. Is there much difference between the VR to the VS. what are these types of commodores like.

i wouldnt mind knowing this as well... as my dad is in the market for one of these cheers :mrgreen:

hey guys i have a VS 5ltr HSV ute. its a 5spd with a LSD. the most fun ive ever had and its faster than my old VL turbo. (proved this just last night actually). im pretty sure they came out ... SS, S, commodore ute, HSV maloo, HSV enhanced. basically the same as every other commodore out there.

Yeah StageIII is right there. Just one point though, if you are looking for a 6, go for a VS with the ecotec engine.

How much do they tow? Are they any good with an FE2 suspension pack. Not sure if its aftermarket. i think it was done new.

FE2 is standard, i have pedders sports riders... they can tow a fair bit, ive only ever towed a boat (which it pulls out of the river nicely, with the fat sack in it)

This isnt really on the topic of ute's, but what does the ecotec mean? i have often wondered what it means..... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
