Im thinkin an RB30DE with 4.11 gears and 5 speed. Would easily anihilate stock VL turbos and lightly modded VL turbos.

ME im just playing it safe with the higher compression til i get some sort of intercooler on. The RB25 non turbo 5 speed goes 0-100 in under 8. Give it another .5 litre and less weight and you will blow a turbo VL.

i do find it funny , mainly coz i have a "stockish" vlt , and i know ppl with cars like rb25 lines etc and i can flog piss out of em. the reason that the skyline seems fast is bcoz it gets the power down much more efficiently than the vl. im not saying its a bad mod to do but it wont be as quick as u think.
