Does an LS1 engine fit into a VL, Yes or No.
If yes how hard is it to fit/setup?
any pics/links or info on this topic would be very nice as well.
thanks

...a different engine never/rarely fits straight in. You make it fit!
VL's came out with a V8 option, it wouldnt be too hard to make it fit but you'd be best to start with a V8 VL.
yes, it would fit.. one of my friends is in the process of putting an LS1 from a VU SS Ute into his VK.. you will need alot of custom setup though - engine mounts, gearbox cross members, wiring looms, etc etc - its costs quite a bit...
anyone know of any vls with the ls1 in them.
would be something a bit different to see in a vl for once. i heard someone in my town is building a vh with an ls1 in it dont know for sure though.
I think Castlemaine rod shop will be you best bet for parts & info, I think they are doing looms, shorty headers etc.
