i had a pod fitted to my intake with heat shield all chromed up and stuff but whenever i get pulled up at cruises i get a sticker. i am trying to make the pod fit inside the stock airbox with the cold air intake being the only air inlet. does anyone know differences in flow rates between the flat k&n filter and the pod.

I think the panel filter actually flows more. There was something on a site a while ago where they tested many configurations and I think they found that a k&n panel filter in a stock airbox with a duct from the front bar actually let the most air through.

One better, try using a vs series 2 v8 box with a k & n filter, they are bigger and flow better than the vl one, they are about $120 from holden.
