Hey all... does anyone have any designs for sub boxes to suit a vl? I need one that accomodates the little rise up the back of the boot. I'd also like to fully deck out my boot in order to make it look scmicko, and be as safe as possible from theives. Cheers all!

hey.. i know what you want... i built a box that holds 2subs... 1 x 10 inch (.8 cu/f) and another 1 x 12 inch holding about 1.25 cu/ft.. the volume is almost spot on for the subs.. the only thing i had to do was bash the parcil shelf a little to make it fit, but the box fits between the strut tops and above the fuel tank. the only problem i had is the gap between the fuel tank is almost the exact same size as the sub.. so you'll need to be exact... mine is so tight theres only one bolt holding the thing in through the baby seat clip! PM me and i'll get the dimentions and **** out to ya. i just built a box with a partician... i'll try to get some pics too!

Umm, what i really need is a design for a box that'll hold a single 15" sub. The sub itself is too big to fit in vertically i think. So does anyone have a design that will fit over the hump at the back of the boot, come down over the front of the hump, and have a sloping face for the 15" to sit on?

pfft it's not hard to design yaself, just think of what slope you want it on and do some measuremeants, draw it up first then perfect it, i designed my box on my own and it fits between the struts and comes out holding 2 12" subs, u can see it some time if u want

nah, you're missing the point... I'm too lazy to go and measure up my boot. I was hoping someone would have the measurements already done for me... Damn i'm lazy lol

yeah, I just mounted mine with a bit of tricky cutting =p But I found it sounded pretty horrible, so now i've gon back to my old box with the sub pointing up in the air under the parcel shelf - much better Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
