Gday, well i got all dressed up for my remembrance service ( kilt and all.. haha) and formed an honor guard so that was exciting. anyway just hope that every1 is proud of the sacrifice that those men and women gave for us to live like we do today!! LEST WE FORGET

I think the sentiment is more in that you actually remembered enough to care at all, not that you stopped at a specific moment in time. It's kinda cool that people still stop what they're doing these days and appreciate what was given by others in a darker time... we're a pretty apathetic society yeh I was asleep too Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

u lucky peeps were still asleep at 11:00 on monday damn wish i could have been i was at school :cry: yeah but we still had the minutes silence and for once there was no pathetic idiots trying to be funny by making stupid noises and stuff.

This sounds really harsh, and u can judge me by what I'm about to say, not that I care. I personally didn't know it was rememberance day today until I saw it come on the news at 6pm. My school didn't hold a ceremony or anything, there was no mention of it. does 11:11pm still qualify ?

yeh, my scho0l had a ceremony, we had the 1 minute silence and then we sang the national anthem, or anthum, however you say it :P

Yeah, probably a bit queer but I actually got out of bed this morning and turned the tv off for a minute. Unfortunately I didnt realise it was 11/11 until about 2 minutes before 11am, but I still managed to shut the **** up for a minute, which is pretty good in my standards.
