Have always had a curiosity with the supercharged commodore range. Was looking through the trading post today ... and to my suprise spotted quite a few supercharged VT models ranging from 21-24k which I thought was relatively(suspiciously) cheap for a supercharged vehicle.
Does anyone know if there was any major dramas with the supercharged VT series ... anyone been for a ride in one? They have any go in them?
they are 171kW, if you think that's powerful for the wieght they haul, go for it :P but ive heard they are easily tweakable

yeah a supercharged vt would be cool but why not go for a vs ss in my opinion they look way better and would prolly go better to. but i guess insurance would prolly be dearer and u mustnt want a v8 anyway if ur lookin at a supercharged 6. so yeah unless u would go for an 8 id say they should be pretty sweet cars.
look at auctions if u are looking 4 a vt. Most auctions are full of vts, ex fleet cars, government etc. I saw a vt supercharged s pac go 4 22. had 70000 on the clock and was immacuately brand new.
I heard a story that the supercharged 6's were very close in power to the 8's, so Holden fiddled them to make them less powerful. Dunno how true, but interesting......
Thanks guys .... yeah as above ... main concern is how easily they can be tweaked for extra power.
Might go to the auctions and see what they're going for there.
