yelllllooooo, Just went for a drive in my N/A sl with the ****ty clock dash, and realised whilst i was drivin that their was a ticking noise. I paid closer attention to this "ticking" noise and found that when i slowed down the ticking slowed down, then when i sped up the ticking sped up! Soooooo, was just wondering what the **** the problem is. Doesnt seem normal to me. Ne ideas people? your help will be appreciated Tah, Jim-

ticking doesnt go with your revs??? could be something stuck on your tires or something rubbing on your rims....??

I'd so laugh if it was just a stone caught in the tyre tread

umm well im not that ****en stupid mushroom u tosser. And no **** the ticking noise was gonna slow down as the car slowed, just simply stating. The sound was actually coming from the dash, not outside the car. Thanks NightmareZVL, probably is the odometer. Is it easily fixed if it is the odometer? Jim-

yeah well in that case it most likely is the odometer. Does your speedo work fine?? The best thing (prolly easiest thing) to do is to replace whole dash with a new one (maybe one with a tacho and digital clock instead of the analouge clock one ) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah the Speedo works fine. How much would it cost for a new dash with the digital clock and tacho?....and how easy are they to install? Cheers Jim-

around $100 i think. Yeah the tacho, volts will work ( i belive ) but the oil pressure sender unit will have to be changed from a light one to a gauge one. Pretty easy i belive. But u probably dont have to worry about it.

just a question, is it possible to get the new cluster, so ya have a tacho, volts, oil, and clock, but still keep the odometer which i have now? because i recently go a recon, and if i change my odometer it will be harder to work out how many km's i have done since then
