Dont worry about pulling the motor out, get rid of the car and i'll sell you my VN SS for $5,500. If not put a 5 liter in it, there the way to go.

vn ss for 5 and a half ****e around here u'd be lucky to get one for double that what sort of condition is it in. and to madhatter yeah id say a 5 litre would be the way to go or even if u can aford it it would be sweet to put a gen 3 in it.

Mad Hatter..... First thing you do is work out your budget and how much power you want........ If you want a Gen III Chev 5.7L motor you cannot drive it like an old man or a sunday cruise..... those motors are designed to go hard. Yes the Buick motors are a piece of ****. At the moment you can find a Gen III motor with the ECU and the 6speed box for under $5000 Or you could get a VQ Statesman 5L motor. Another thing you will have to do is change the diff ratio, what diff ratio do u have in it at the moment. Speaking from experience..... ex VN chaser owner

**** that be original throw in a rb25det, if im right all you need is a vl crossmember and it should be a straight bolt up, vn's were meant to have that rb30 but they decided to go with the buick v6, youl get an engine and box for around 3k

Yeah 60, 000 kays??? Hmm sounds like it might be a good motor for a turbo buildup. Im sure there would be low comp pistons you could source from the States as that motor is used in a number of combinations. From there it would be a matter of turbo choice. Id reccomend whatever is on the S14 SR20DET * 2 and a wicked Twin Throttle body setup, big front mount cooler, Custom Plenum, Motec ECU, and away you go. How about a Supra 5 speed Gearbox with a twin plate clutch..... mmmm paint it black with 17 inch chrome wheels and a grey or white interior.....twin straight through systems to either side of the rear end, custom bodykit based on the VY SS and youd be laughing all the way to the Summernats Peoples Choice award....maybe...i donno.

That's 2 knob posts from you at me today. At least I thought of something somewhat original. Der put an LS1 in man der. I said the kit would be based on the VY SS kit not put one on. For example you start off with that kit and customise it to suit the VN rather than spending 10 grand fabricating one yourself. You knob.

I've got a good engine conversion for you Destroy. Take the POS motor out of your car, and insert into your rectum. You should get about 25 RWKW at your arse.
