i have a non turbo bt1...is the only performance increase a chip?

id say give it a k&n air filter, 2.5 inch exhaust with extractors if u still want more go for a cam and chip (theres prolly more things u should do when u get a new cam) um also just tuning things like advancing the timing and adjusting the afm. other than that sell it and buy a turbo some1 was gonna say it anyway. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well some people say the BT1 does not even have a chip. But i am a believer. Well apart from that , yeah exactly the same. there are some extras like disc brakes, calais lights. Do a search on the forums, this question has been asked 1000 times before.

This has been done before, some bloke was a police mechanic he recconed, he said he had programmed 'these mystery chips'. Also a friend said he had one, dont know if he was bull****ting or not.

yeh i been told AVO fit bt1 chips... i dunno if they came out with them or not... its a bit of a mystery to me... no one seems to know?

The only chips in BT1s are Maccas french fries. A mates dad was in charge of the police fleet in NSW for years. They didn't have special chips in Police cars here.

theres no damn performance chip, its bull****. Why dont you change your mates BT1 computer with your own and see what happens..
