hey guys my mate has just purchased an 84 import 300zx. Its a 2ltr? V6 turbo, and i have to say im quite impressed. Especially as it was 4.5k.with 92k on the clock (hmm maybe) but the condition is nearly showroom. I know there are quite a few problems with the later model but i dont know that much about this shape. Its not hugely quick but its stock, quicker than a VS though. And it was so cheap, i cant belive that they dont go 4 more. Its also very impressive for its age technology wise. It shouts at u in japanese when when u open the door while driving.

84 model import 300ZX. Sorry i meant V6. They are not inline like rb30. They are not twin turbo either. Just one turbo, very similar in size to the Rb30 turbo. They run 4psi stock.

This one is very defiantly a v6. Drove it, goes nice, a stock vlt goes a bit harder though in my opinion. Its brilliant 4 its money. aparently there are only 2 in australia with hard tops.

Its the VG20et for f#cks sake, export versions were the vg30et, not a rb30 or vg30dett.

No, most early 300zx's ran the VG20et in the Jap domestic market. Export versions used the VG30e and VG30et.
