I recently bought a n/a VL with no modifications at all. I was just wondering if it is worth picking up some reasonable extractors from a wreckers or buying them new. What ever be the case, what prices am i looking at for new, and second hand extractors? Cheers Jim Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If you can find a decent set at the wreckers, then that's the way I would go. Save yourself a few dollars in the process. Maybe even an exhaust shop could have a 2nd hand set lying about they are willing to part with. I don't have a clue on pricing. Maybe $50 for 2nd hand

3 options: a) go new so that the exhaust place will install em and if they break any exhaust studs then they can fix em hehe b) but if the exhaust place will fit extractors not purchased from them then go second hand and get them to fit em. c) if youre not worried about breaking studs then do the job yourself....very easy. second hand around the $100 mark should be norm.....but compared to the 3.3 extractors, the rb30 extractors are harder to find, hence more expensive

hi, i was just wondering if $220 for a set of brand new extractors fully installed is a fair price.

I paid $300 just for the extractors and I installed them myself... they were on the car for a week and now i need to get rid of them I can't get $250! for them.... $220 is good depending on what sort of extractors... I have a set of pacemakers.. nice )
