Holden V8 308 prices?

I'm looking around for prices on a 308 for 1986 VL commodore. I'm talking about those motors from 1986 to 1988 VL commodores. But other 308 motors and info also prices would be nice. Thank you.

Same Diff ... Well... I was wondering for prices on any 308 or 304s. Want to use a V8 motor in a VL. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

straight from the commodore wreckers (so privately expect a fair bit less) they dont seem to have VL v8's there.... Motors VN - VS V8 Long Bare (some Exchange) 3000 & 5000 Motors VN - VS V8 Complete Outright 3000-6000 Cory

So. If I was to buy a V8 motor that came from a VN, VP, VR or VS. It would fit into the VL engine bay without any problems?

shouldnt be too much problem (heaps of ppl are doing / have done it), think the battery has to go to the other side, and thats abt it, cept that if your VL was a V8 it wont be efi.... Cory
