i have a vl wagon 3l 6cyl auto. i am looking at reconditioning a 3L and 5 spd and wacking it in with a LSD and disc brake rear end, also upgrading the front brakes to twin piston callipers and slotted rotors. there a few things i wanna know about: - what callipers will bolt sraight up???? and i guess ill have to get the same size rotors the the callipers are made for. i am in nz so the old VL turbo's arent that common over here. - will any VL LSD and disc rear end fit or do i have to get one from a wagon???? - when converting from auto to manual i guess id have to change the computer, but when putting the clutch system in do i have to cut a whole in the firewall or is there just a cover plate that is removable?? - also looking at upgrading to heavy duty sway bars, strut brace and panhard rod. with urethane bushes to suite. anyone know how well these perform?? ill be looking at starting this project after the v8's@pukekohe! yeeehaaaaa BUY THE BEST, FORGET THE REST BUY A HOLDEN

The front brakes are easy, get new vlt discs and grab some d or ss pack vn or vp front calipers and fit them up, you will need a four wheel disc master cyl, a 1" one is a good bet, also a wagon diff is needed to fit into a wagon, the sedan ones wont fit. The master cyl will bolt up, there is a taped up hole in the firewall for the clutch master cyl. The suspension package will make your wagon handle real well.
