Any help would be great. i am only running the 6*9s at the moment and there is still that awful ticking scracthing sound. i think its got something to do with the RCA lines or headunit. Also with a Sub does music just come out of it or just bass supposed to. I have wired the radio up incorrectly so that i could have it running when i dont have the keys in the ignition. could this be a problem. HELP

Ok dude a few things. Are u running your rca cables along side of your power cable? If so this is probably your problem. Run the rca down one side and the power cable down the other. Your radio should go off when you turn the ignition off but this is not a major problem. On there is a wire for memory ( main power wire/on all the time ) and one off you ignition. Dont ask me the colours cause ive forgotten. I think yellow is ignition, red memory or visa versa. No only bass is ment to come out of your sub. Has your amp been bridged? this is where you join to channels into one to lead to a sub. To give more power. On your amp there should be something that says LPF Low Pass Filter. Low pass filter only allows bass to the sub which is what u want. Turn this on. You may have to re adjust the channels. Also the GAIN control and i think u might have a LPF control shoud not go above half way, it may sound better when adjusting but at higher volumes it will just distort more.

What does the LPF button look like, do most Amps have them, or can i get it sorted out by someone. Does it need Bridgeing even if i am running it on 2 channels. Figured out the ticking, needed a supresion thingy, worked a treat. Speakers = Great..... Sub = Still ****ting ME
