If you don't have a clue start searching on the web. That doesn't mean finding the first site and asking all your questions. You are asking lots and lots of vague silly questions here that don't have one answer anyway. Lots of them are either a matter of opinion or depending on where and what you buy. Get on the web and read, read, read. BTW Suggest that you do a lot more work before you commit to buying a car.

I can answer a few of your questions for you. A Vk Exec will have power steering and maybe aircon. A bare bones VK will not. VK bits are cheap as chips, if you go to a self serve wreckers you could probably pick up all the parts you need to fix that car for under 100 dollars. VK calais' have nice interior, electric windows and central locking, shonky but cool electonic dashboards and different wheels. VK Berlinas are somewhere in between a calais and Exec. You best bet is to go and actually look at the car.

agree with hornet... the red motor will most probably fail emissions, best choice is to get a good body and the transmission of your choice (auot or manual), if the motor blows up, you can rebuild it better, same with the gearbox, and interior, but the body you always just put the same crap back together.. RoveLive: Did i reply to your last email?? Cory

I always thought that the red motor was the injected version for the VK. Or am i thinking of the blue?
