Hey All, Need you technical expertise, I'm trying to remove the head rests off the front seats. I own a calais series 1 interior and no matter how hard I try, I can not get the damn things off! I sprayed some WD40 to try and loosen any rust or whatever, I can get them to click once, however the suckers won't come off! Any ideas? Comments will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Wordup, From memory on the exex seats there are two clips per headrest. Easily removed with a pair of long nose pliers and\or flathead screwdriver. Not sure if the Calais interior will be any different. Rock on!

Thanks dood, But yeah, could not see any clips at all. Can you give me an idea on where they might be. All I can see are a metal tube which is embedded in the main section of seat where the actual headrest spike slides in. Any idea on where I should be looking. I tried pushing the cushion down but I cant see anything at all. Any ideas? Thanks bud

I had the same problem in my series 2 calais. The only way to get them off, is to yank the **** out of them. It's like many other things - if you pull hard enough, you'll achieve what you want.
