hey man, hows your car doing? looked sweet when i was over there. from what i hear it can last a while, i know someone who uses 10psi whenever he races and stock the other times, and i think he's been doing that for a year or so and its fine. something to think about though, i'm not quite sure if this relates to the jatco's, but lots of autos die with high power because they shift so soft and slip too much. maybe take your valve body out and put a new spring on the pressure regulator so all shifts are a bit firmer.. that combined with a better vacuum modulator may prolong its life for a while Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey, I reckon 10 psi through the stock auto is fine in a VLT and because it's not going to be all the time (so you say now ) you should be alright as long as the auto isn't sick at the moment. I know of people who do it and there gearboxs are still fine, maybe they were just lucky but I think you'll be safe. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

itll handle 10 pound but one thing i strongly suggest is a good tranny cooler. i just put one on (probably one of the biggest) its about 500mm square , nearly the size of radiator. i can honestly say that it has majorly improved the shift of the box and it certainly keeps it cool , very cool. easy to fit in 1 hour and save a lot of heartache

yeah as it says above, it all depends what kind of condition your tranny is in, my auto **** itself but that was after boosting up to 20 pound with the stock auto! it lasted a good 3 years of some punishment. but yeah shes fingered now so i made it a manual.
