under the bonnet of my vl there are three wires. Ine fairly heavy duty wire with and earth washer in the end, one that looks just like speaker wire with the same connections and everything, and the third is like speaker wire but heavy duty and has no connections on the end. None of these are connected to anything, they are just bundled up near the brake fluid resovior. Could anyone tell what any of these wires are. Thanx
the heavy duty wire is yellow soldered onto a black end with the earth washer, the speaker wire stuff is gray and the heavy speaker wire stuff id black. They either go through the fire wall or just dissapear behind the motor somewhere!
It's probably just the remains of an alarm system, stereo or something like that. I've pulled out more than 25 metres of leftover wiring from my car, and it still works.
