I have an intercooler and stainless steel pipes its connected together with rubber hose. What temprature rating should the hose have, this is the second hose piece that has deteriorated from the turbo to the first pipe (its a 90 degree bend). The last pipe was rated for 125 degree celcius. Any help?

! use that silicon hose off your turbo, its great stuff, and you can get it in all sorts of colours !!.. but its very expencive!, (from memory about $150 per M, Apart from that. you can get away with any rubber sort of hose, big radator hose is a goodie!, I had a tempature probe in my cooler pipe after my intercooler, and i could not get the air over 33deg (on a 20odd deg day) that was runing 13psi on the standard turbo,. i have a rubber 2.5 - 3" flare onto my throttle body, and it has been there for 3 months now, with out any problems (2.5" cooler pipes with a 3" xf throttle body) so pritty much anything is good after that!, Hope its been some help!
