I just got my VL on thursday an it just came with JVC head unit(not installed) and 2x4inch 2 way Alpine in the dash. My question is where do i get the wires for the power and Ariel also the wires for the front 2 speakers to plug into the head unit. i really cant afford one of those manuals at the moment to do it coz i had to pay for the car but if anyone could help it would save me from driving board. thanks

Personally I wouldn't muck around much with origional wiring, so run a decent size power cable from the red (+) side of your battery (buy the proper lug for it too and a fuse) then connect that up to the red lead on your head unit. Find the blach earth cable under the dash (should be hanging around in there screwed on to a bit of metal) and hook the black one from the headunit in to it. Now, you might want a multimeter to check this, but you need to find the "on" cable so your headunit remembers its settings when it's turned off, I *think* it is oranage in my VL, but I can't be sure, (just hook a multimeter to it and the earch cable and check if theres power ONLY when the ignition is on) The arial is a huge plug which looks a bit like a weird headphone plug, there will be a socket for it to go into on the headunit on the back. If it's a power arial, you'll have to connect the remote cable (should be blue). Now, from memory, green and grey are the two front colours, connect the two greys to one speaker and the two greens to the other. Everything should be under the dash, best bet is to get a multimeter and find out what is what Make sure you get a fuse (within 25cm of the battery connection) for your power cable if going straight from the battery Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
