Hey, Just jumped into my new ride, after searching for ever, and have just struck a problem! When changing from first to Second (BB Clutch) you get quite a shudder from the arse end of the car! (if you push the clutch IN-OUT quick you get no problems) but when driving in heavy traffic, and you cant pop the clutch out just like that, thats when you get the shudder.. A mate said could be the centre bearing?? its really only when driving down low.. Any Suggestions?? Thanks

yeah man, i've always had the same problem. i noticed my driving changed to compensate for it, cos like i kept accelerator on a little bit longer whilst changing gears....and now my clutch is on the way out.. so yeah, i guess u should get it sorted out, like i should be too. sorry i don't actually KNOW what causes it though!

backlash - buy a new diff ) I have been through 3 diffs in two years for mine.. buy an LSD centre - much stronger than the open centres..

When i put a BB cluch in mine it clunks if i dont match the revs, diff back lash. It also shudders when i slip it, it's just cos it's so grabby.

sounds like its just a brass button clutch too me... good clutches, but you do have to watch it when your using them. ive gotten used to it, i sometimes think that my clutch is sliping, since it dosent clunk anymore. dumping it though proves me wrong, so im happy If you want to take off at the lights without clunking in normal traffic, or you want to change gears, i suggest you keep the revs up as its pretty sensitive. also, anyone get a bit of a grabby/grinding noise when your easing the clutch out? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
