already replaced ****ty stock front speaker with a pair of 4" 80 watt kenwoods and put a pair of 300W kenwoods in the back. Sounds good but as u know u always wanna go bigger and better. Got a 4 X 45W blaupunkt headset which ive been told wil handle everything ive got so far. So whats the next step, to get some bigger and better sounds outta these babies what should i put in next?? im not a pro so any advice is good advice.

well just purchasing my VL recently its all stock and i need to replace the holden head unit (ha!) and the 4"ers. Im looking at the possibility of door pods for 6"ers, but that will have to be later on down the track how much did those 4" kenwoods set you back?

got the 300W and the 80W 4" for about $220 i think. They were under $80 anyway. Specials on at stratchfield at the minute are 4" 90W for under $80.

Yes, you can go for some door PODS for a couple 6"s or you can mount them in the door with spacers (unless you get shallow magnet speakers). Also you could go out and buy and amp big enough to power a nice 12 " sub and put the sub in the boot in a box......And if you wanna go even better you could run 2 subs, run a 4 channel amp for all your speakers....install 6" splits in the rear doors as well as the front doors with tweaters and also keep running your 4" ones in the dash.....this would be the ultimate but depends on how many $$$ you have to spend.......... :?

really running speakers off your HU isnt ideal, If u get a nice 4 channel amp itll make a huge difference to your speakers. More bass more volume.
