Just womdering how many black VL's are out there. I come from Country SA and recently painted my VL jet black with dark windows to suit. its runnin on 5 spoke 16's and extractors with a few other exaust mods to give it the distinct VL note. If you got another black one give us a yell as I reckon theres probably less than 50 in AUS.

im from sa and i cant say i ever actually seen a black vl driving around i want mine painted either red or black how much did your respray cost?

i've seen a few in adelaide, they wern't anything special though, but don't see too many!

Im from tassie, down south, i have only ever seen/heard of 1 black vl getting around.....looks sweet Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

A friend of mine bought a black VL exec with momo stars, who ever painted it did a bodgey job cause in places on the car you could see the old colour, which was canary yellow Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think people are a bit scared of painting there vl's black. Because u dont c many u dont no what its gunna turn out like. This is what i think n eway. I have to say the 1's that ive seen with a nice black paint job do look very nice.

i've seen a few over here in qld, in fact we jsut had 2 black vl's on our last cruise here.. one was a black executive with pursuits.. the other was a black over silver calais.. both looked very good and yeah if u check out the exchaser cruise thread in the photos secion.. there will be some photos up within week later Ollie Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Black is a hard color to make look good, takes a lot of prep work, especailly on a vl to get em straight. Thats why i think there arent to many black ones!

I saw one on melbourne street but it was a complete stoko oldmans exec with target brand wheel covers. I think i see lots of black ones in the distance but they usually turn out to be dark blue.

About a month ago, i saw a jet black VL Walkinshaw for sale for $11,000. i was a very good looking car, but with black, i think it needs to be kept in good condition to look good.

i have a black/silver calais. never seen a black vl before i got this but thats not strange coz i live in perth. its a bitch to keep looking good. everything shows up and i hafta wash it minimum every weekend or it looks absolutely disgusting. its always dirty again after a few days though. ive got dark windows too, gets a lot of looks just coz of the rarity.

theirs an old man that has a full black vl with calais front and rims in my street, from far away it looks like the sickest vl you have ever seen, but up close the black gives away any minor dint's and scrtches and makes them stand out 10times worse than any other colour. In the 5 years since i've known about vl's i have probably only seen 3 or 4 on the streets in melbourne.

I think some guys thought I was going to steal it hornet -- which VL is yours? theres a carpark right around the side that always has like 6 VL's parked it it hehe

i would love to paint my car a gloss black maybe with a subtle pearl through it.... the amount of work it takes to make a black car look good is putting off though - panel work needs to be PERFECT, and the car needs to be cleaned more often than you guys change your undies...

Mines a gold exec, interceptors, with a smashed in front left corner (thanks to a red light runner - will be getting fixed in the next couple of weeks tho ) i usually park in the carpark on the right on the road in. My car was broken into in the back car park, so i avoid it at all costs Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think i've seen yours then I mainly park in the car park next to the school there. Look out, my car (white exec) now has a calaisturbo.com sticker on it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
