My N/A VL has most of the suggested mods but does not have a turbo, i am considering an engine transplant with the RB30-ET turbo or just purchasing a large turbo for the stock motor.what is the cost/mods involved with the turbo upgrade on the stock motor.Cheers

This is a VERY popular question silverbullet, use the search function and you will be able to dig up a lot! But basically you are better off either buying a turbo vl or a turbo engine and putting in your current vl rather than putting a turbo onto your stockie N/A. But if you wanted to put a turbo on ya stockie N/A you will basically need to space the head to get a lower compression ratio for the turbo, get hold of an exhaust manifold for the turbo, etc, etc. Ends up being pretty costly and you wont be able to push it too far unless you do a complete reco on ya motor....

as Morgz said, very popular conversion and info can be found by searching. Its better to buy a turbo VL than build one because it would need brake upgrade and so on...
