Hey all. well when i got my microtech installed the guy also plumbed in a air temp sensor. I would just like to know if anyone has one in their VLT and if so what temperature it usually reads at when driving and when idling?. Mine got plumbed into where the overboost valve used to be( would have preferred it on the cooler pipe though). When driving usually reads between 36-40 degrees and when idling for a long period can get up to 64 degrees.

I have one also, it is tee-d into to where the fuel pressure regulator gets it air, didnt want to drill and tap plenum, holds around 36 degrees when cruising on freeway with lights up 8O and can get as high as 65 degrees when idle on hot day, it has reccalled a peak high of 70 after car has been switched off. strangely these are exact same temps as yours and no I wasnt talking ****e about the lights, have tested this many times, car consistently drops about 4-6 degrees when lights are popped up, only when on cruise control on freeway, It will raise 4-6 degrees again if lights are dropped. , Eyelids must force a lot more cold air into engine bay and to my air duct which surrounds headlight Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

HA thats sound weird about the headlights. Was driving around last night and the the temp stayed on about 31-32 when driving (as it was a cold night). Was pretty happy, pity I couldn't drag no one though as still running in the 3 speed.
