hmmm only got 200kms out of my last tank of fuel (normal unleaded fuel) i dont know what i normally get from a tank but this seemed to be pretty poor to me only 200kms out of a tank maybe my odometer is stuffed or something im not sure. p.s- the tank lasted a week being driven everyday in a mix of 60 and 80 zones also a fair bit of slow cruising around town if this helps any1 have any ideas i just thought it must be pretty low seen as ive read posts of people geting 400-450 from a tank.

Spit Fire works well, for $10 or so, it made my engine run a bit smoother, but nothing special in the Power department... :?

hey man, you say you drove it every day for a week.... and you only drove 200 km's ?? I just thought it a bit strange... like in my case i drive my car every day and do around 400km a week... maybe like you said, your odo has stopped for a day or two and you haven't noticed and that's why it only reads 200km... i'm not sure man... anyway just an idea... if anything I'd think that my theory is correct... catch ya !! jay Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I used to have the same problem with the VL... she'd only get like 200 to a tank, i had the tranny serviced, and the throttle body cleaned out and it fixed it a bit, then had the injectors flowed and it was fine again. I used to do about 500km a week... now i do about 800km to 1000 km a week.

I cant work out what you would clean out of the throttle body? Can someone explain and back to the original question, check your computer codes to see if one of your sensors is ***ing up, its probly just the odometer tho. Good Luck

Well the bloke that did it said there was a ****ty build up of carbon around the throttle body. He loosened it all up, fired it up and she blew a ****in big black cloud out the back then ran like a dream.
