i have a series 1 vl and i noticed the compartment inbetween the drive/passenger seats looks like it has 2 compartments (one on top, one on bottom) but only the bottom opens, i tried to force it open but gave up in fear of breaking it, however the other day when i opened the bottom of it i swear something moved in the top bit, so what i need to know, does the top compartment exist, and if so, is there a trick to working it?
ok got it worked out, previous owner managed to get the male latch thing lodged in wrong hole, like you have the part where its supposed to fit in, it was jammed beside the hole in a small spot, so i had to take it apart and wedge it out
packet of PK gum and a full roll of red electrical tape
which added to the grand total of things found in my car after i bought it
PK
electrical tape
fishing knife
door knob
christian magazines
receipts from early 90s
i think the 5c pices must come standard i found about $2 worth in mine.
but christian magazines at least u know the car prolly wasnt thrashed by the previous owner.
well didn't i get shafted... all i got was a wooden koala head key ring, a ****load of dust and the embarresment of having it run out of fuel minutes after handing over the bank cheque.
I think there was a 20c peice wedged in the ash tray but thats about it.
When my mate got his car i pulled it apart to do the stereo and we found all of the original wiring from when it was a cop car, i mean all of it, in the roof lining, under the carpet, everywhere!
Man i feel ripped off the most. All i found was a crossword from a Feb 1994 newspaper and a green pencil
PS. i finished the crossword with the green pencil
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
hahahahaha vlcommy, at least your things can be used together, im hardly gunna attach the doorknob to the magazines with a mixture of chewing gum and duct tape
Ha,
I got a picture magazine which was all stuck together because of the water in boot. (Not any other reason!!)
