has anyone ever removed the oil pump with out removeing the block im sure there is a way but im bugged if i can figger it out

Its easy to pull them off without removing the engine, but you have to drop the sump as the pumps sit inside and will not come off with the sump in place.

cool i think was was somthing in the way of the sump but illl give it another look
just thought id check before id started
