Hi guys, Just bought a VN Exec Ex Cop car with a very fast V6 motor which has a SS bodykit on it at the moment..... it's in light blue. Does anyone have ideas on modifications to the VN ? Very interested in what everyone has to say. Thinking of going with an Aero bodykit ? Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey thats my line... from another thread. But if you've just bought it, then it depends on your budget. I'd go out and spend $5000 to $7000 for a blower kit.

you'd be better off using the VN as a daily driver and having a VLT as a drag car VN has the nice newer interior for cruising, while the VL is better in everyother respect Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Quote: you'd be better off using the VN as a daily driver and having a VLT as a drag car VN has the nice newer interior for cruising, while the VL is better in everyother respect Of course you'd only want one for a drag car if your interested in drag racing !! Also I'd like do disagree with the VN being a nicer interior... I much prefer the VL, it has a smaller car "cosier" feel to it whereas you feel like you could fall out of your seat kinda huge space thing happening...i don't like VN interiors... or VN's. they're crap. supercharge it though i dunno...... I guess the "sell it and get a vl turbo" line is wearing a bit thin these days... anyway catch ya

i would have to disagree.... Everywhere i go, all i see are VL's, so why not something different to everyone. For eg. VKLS1.... he is probably the first to put a LS1 motor into a stock VK commodore.... how's that ? very different to everyone else. Where i live in Aspley, Brisbane... it's very rare to see a done up VN ex chaser or any VN's

VN Mods on a ex-chaser... I would list some suitable mods. But, I don't know what sort of mods have been done to the car because it is a ex-cop car. But I could put in a supercharger in it and upgrade the chip to something better!!! Check out www.chiptorque.com.au While you're there, get rid of the seats in the car and put in something suitable like VS seats. Maybe VT SS leather seats. They look more sweet Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

tip #309 If you want to go fast without spending a small fortune -- just buy a VL VK 6's are s-l-o-w the 8's are alright once you beef them up a bit, but still, VL's are a far better choice, escpecially a turbo Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Gavin is right... Unless you can sit yourself in something with a Gen III or have the cash to work a VR/VS/VT 6 then you really can't go past a VL be it Turbo or Non-Turbo. They're quick cars with nice styling and great for mods. VK 6's were SLOW and the V8's weren't much better. They needed work on the 8's to get em going.

Devil666, You know the twins? They got a V8 VK commodore. Anyway, the car s bloody slowas. I mean, A V6 VN commodore beat them when they did a drag against a girl driver of a VN.

Ohhh yeah the twins, Ha ! they can't even drive a car for **** man ! Now that's something i would have liked to see a girl in a VN V6 whipping their asses ! Still looking around Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
