Then sit back and wonder why you didn't spend the money on a turbo conversion
Just kidding, good on him

i will be finding out as much detail as possible on Sat - im going up to Redcliffe Dyno for a dyno run in my car, and will be asking a few q's
apparently it had about $10k spent on it, including upgrading the clutch, repainting the engine bay, and modding the motor... not cheap...

Ive got a magaizine somewhere called 'performance engine buildups'. They had a turbo engine that ran 800kw ( i think) it was a NIZPRO built engine. It apparently made 250kw before having a hairdryer strapped to it. Apparently in the mag, Nizpro said something like 'the key to making a good turbo engine is to make it a good n/a engine first.
ill take a 250kw n/a 6 cillinder engine thanks thats more than enough power for me.
who needs turbos pfffffffffft

250kw in a vl would have to beat a new ss i think being lighter and all how cool would that be beat a new ss of the lights in a naturally aspirated straight six.
i may have slightly exaggerated these figures. They were in HP. Its a wicked article, gets hell into depth, they reccon that as soon as u go above 800HP the block splits and u can take the rb30 up to around 7000rpm. interesting. The engine is sitting in a nice white over silver calais as well.
