hi guys, you know those 8" neons that you can buy from jb, etc, does anyone know if it is possible to connect them up to a switch, coz i initially wanted to hook them up to the headlights but the packet says that they shouldn't be on for longer than 3hrs at any time so i figured that a switch might be better!

Yeah it can be done mate... All i did with mine was just grab a simple on/off switch from Super Cheap Auto and wired it myself. There will be a ground wire, a positive wire from a 12v source and then the positive to the neons. Piss easy to do, and highly recomended.

My mate did it not a week ago in his mazda. Bought a switch from Tandy, and although it looks wicked, they dont think it's powering the second neon (he's got two 8"s) enough and it powers with the accelerator, etc. Ill tell him to get one from Super cheap tho, thanks my88! 8)
