are there any tricks to removing the speedo needle once dash is apart? will it affect calibration or does the needle have some kind of groove to get it back on in the sam spot? am taking it off so I can scan the dash backing and make some custom dials (not ricey but nicer) I can get them printed on proper transparent plastic easily as my gf is a graphic artist. If it works and looks good I may be able to offer you guys some nice dash designs!

Ive already tried what your doing and it is very dificult because it has more than just one layer of printing on it (about 3) Let us know how you go.
